Hit the field and pick up new skills and techniques from living polo legend Guillermo “Memo” Gracida and his roster of professional polo players at La Herradura Polo Club. Known as the “Michael Jordan of Polo,” Memo’s international career includes several record-setting achievements. Most notably, Gracida holds the record of 16 U.S. Open Championship victories (which is essentially the Super Bowl of polo in the US).
Lessons are customized and designed to accommodate all experience levels. Choose your polo experience: from one-on-one sessions, or bring a friend or your group. No horseback riding experience is necessary and we include all the equipment you need, including a horse, helmet, and mallet.

LA HERRADURA CLASSIC
The Polo Clinic that paved the way for some of the biggest names in polo, the La Herradura Classic is open to adult participants and is the ultimate polo experience. The program is completely catered to the dates and length that fit your schedule.
Junior CLASSIC
The La Herradura Junior Clinic was created to provide a competitive and fun program for participants under the age of 21. As stick and balling, riding lessons, practice and tournament matches fill the 1 to 2 week-long Junior program, other activities include learning horse care and maintenance, tour of Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center, Join-Up demonstration with Monty Roberts, and trail rides to name a few.
ladies CLASSIC
Having been a longtime advocate for women in the sport of polo, Memo Gracida along with his wife, Meghan Gracida, has created a women’s polo clinic, known as La Herradura Ladies Classic, to continue to improve and educate women players. Specific to the growing women’s sport, the La Herradura Ladies Classic will cover topics including but not limited to: winning the throw-in, knock-in strategy, horsemanship, fouls and penalties, player positioning, and game flow. These programs will consist of individualized clinics in the mornings with riding, stick and balling, and fun drills designed by Memo. Along with his instructions, you will receive help from qualified high-goal women players, dedicated to improving your game immediately. Each La Herradura Ladies Classic attendee will be provided well-schooled, professionally trained polo ponies.
